Grilled Marinated Zucchini Recipe

Last year my sweet friend, Kristina, sent me this yummy recipe for grilled marinated zucchini when my garden was absolutely overflowing with zucchini.  I’m always game for new zucchini recipes to try in the summer.  This week I’m making my summer menus and getting ready to cook with my garden again (my lettuce, spinach, and strawberries are already ready. . . hooray!).  Of course, I pulled out some of my favorite garden recipes from summers past, and this one definitely makes the list.  Delicioso!


This ingredient list is simple.  All you need is zucchini and some Kraft Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing.


Here’s what you do:

Cut the zucchini in half, then slice each half into similarly wide strips.  Marinade the strips in the Asian dressing all day.  When it’s almost time for dinner, oil the grill really well to prevent sticking.  Then put the strips directly on the grill and cook for several minutes on each side.


Watch them closely because they cook pretty fast.


Oooh, I just love those grill marks!  These are so good.  I think we’re going to have to make some every time we fire up the grill.


I can almost taste those savory Asian flavors just looking at the pictures!  Thanks again Kristina!  You’re already making me anxious for my garden to grow.  I think I’ll go water my zucchini plants.
